To hell with trout fishing!
There… I finally said it!
I love to fish, any kind of fish. I especially love to fish with a fly rod. I’m not a purist and have been known to break out my spinning equipment (there Flybinder, I said it in public, it’s part of my 12 step recovery process).
I do like fishing for trout, but there’s just something about watching a largemouth bust a bug on the surface that gets the heart pumping. There’s also something special about a bull bluegill snapping up a popper.
Heck, there’s something fun about a shinner hitting a fly.
There is also something just fun about fishing even when not catching.
I love to fish.
