?Fly-fisherman spend hours trying little clumps of fur and feathers on hooks, trying to make a trout fly that looks like a real fly. But nobody has ever seen a natural insect trying to mate with a Fanwing Ginger Quill.?

One evening at work, I had a chartruese and white clouser with big painted eyes perched atop my hat. A mantis thought it was either a mate or lunch, I’m not sure.

You should be able to tell, if there were leftovers, or eggs left behind on your hat.On the one hand resulting, maybe, in baby Mantises inhabiting your hat ,or on the other hand ,a funny odor, and possibly more attention from midges and gnats.
