I felt like going to the old pond to catch some fish and it wasn’t all that bad.
It was nice to get my freshwater gear out of mothballs and catch some tilapia.

I caught them on this little yarn fly, you can tie it on a size # 14 or 16 hook, I used a dry fly for them but, of course, you can use whatever hook you prefer. They seem to like orange a lot more than other colors I tied. Try the corn fly, they like it too.
