No need to go anywhere else to fish for me 
. I just have a hard time finding a reason to leave to MT and ID to go fishing (except maybe to go for steelheads or salmon which I have never done). I think my favorite fish is the cutthroat so I dont have to go far to find them Besides the scenery is IMHO the best in the lower 48.

Anywhere within the Nez Perce range. I have come to the conclusion that they had the best home range of all the Native American peoples and they would have been a fine people to live amongst (they still are). As we traveled from camp to camp I could fish watersheds like, the Clearwater, Snake, Palouse, Walla Walla, Salmon, Bitterroot, Clark Fork, and upper Missouri. There weren?t many tribes that got both Salmon and Buffalo on their home range.
