I just bought my first house. I put aside some money to purchase a new bed for said house. Had planned on shopping during Memorial day weekend. I started online, searching through the local furniture store inventories. Jumped over to email, discovered a supplier was running a sale.

I’ve wanted to build a 6wt. VXP for beach snook since they came out. Just never did. Here’s one on sale and I have the cash on hand.

But, I want a bed for my new house.

What would you do?

Yeah, I want a bed. But I NEED that six weight!

Looks to me like the pic of the rod was taken in your house. Can’t fool us, we know what your decision was.

Beds are overrated…rods, not so much

an army cot will do in a pinch until you can save up some more money. I can spare a dollar if it will help…LOL

Well, let’s put it this way. If you are married and your wife will be sleeping on the new bed, I guarantee she would not like sleeping on the Sage fly rod nor on the floor nor an army cot. I would have gone with the bed. :wink: As much as I like Sage rods…yep, difficult choice.
