Found some Pumpkinseed Sunfish on nests yesterday evening. I’d been wanting to see what their colors looked like.
What a simply gorgeous fish! When any of the sunfish are in full breeding colors, they rival the best looking trout or tropical fish in my humble opinion. Great photo. Thanks for sharing.
