Mash barb, start thread at 2/3 mark; wrap to bend and make a loop
Clean, stack, measure (gap width) a clump of deer hair; insert in clip, trim butts, insert in (waxed) loop, spin
Stroke fibers back, wrap forward to 2/3 mark; tie off/trim
Tie in a clump of CH at 3/4 mark; divide and post up base
