Of course you’ve learned from the locals that Syracuse has only two seasons, winter and the fourth of July but it isn’t true.
You will have beautiful springs, summers and falls. You get about 2 days of each.
My wife and I met there and stuck it out for 15 years. Nothin to do but fish and make love and all winter long the lakes and streams are frozen over.
No truth in most of the above but with Syracuse’s average snowfall of over 100 inches, (more than Buffalo and Rochester and any city of its size in the United States) carry a shovel and sand in your car!
