No DELETE function for deleting posts (??) Atleast I don’t see one…yet.
No signatures? You have to add it in again (not that this is really a problem)
No smileys? Some people probably like this one, but then others (DShock I’m looking at you) might really suffer from it 
(You have to know what the codes are for the smileys)

That’s so we have to THINK about what we say before we say it. That’s going to be hard for me, since I used that function frequently.
I added back my signature, and noticed that my PM capacity was exceeded. It said I had 98 messages in my IN box. When I reviewed them, most of them were PM’s that I had deleted in the past, but must have stayed resident on the old server and got carried over. Probably another of the glitches from the old software. Removed them all and now have lots of room again.
All in all this was a pretty seamless transition, and the speed increase is remarkably noticeable. Well worth the investment for sure.

Yep! You get to go back to the UserCP and fill all kinds of fun stuff in again! Fun to see I was on Casablanca time!! May even stay there! Haven’t even scratched the surface of all the new stuff!

Keep in mind that for the next several days this is a fluid system.
I would have preferred to debug and test but all those paramedic calls coming in about anglers going into withdrawal convulsions kind of forced our hands.
So lots of things will appear and disappear for the short term.

Pluls, you have to change the subscription options in the User CP. Look around there and all these problems can be fixed.
You can only use a total of 4 smilies though in a post. (my original one had 25!) :rolleyes:
Aaacckkk … only have three smilies available! All the rest are little blue question marks!
Also keep in mind that the Submit button and the Preview button have switched places. If you fail to read the button, your reply may go off into cyber space, never to be seen again.
The member list only has the names beginning with capital letters. Lower case user names don’t show up at all.

With all the work Ron had to do with the switch, the few things I had to do were not a problem.
On the pms and deleting them. I did not realize how many of them I had done.
The site is back on, but I am not sure every one is over the withdrawl syptoms.

I was about to apply at a 12 step program for withdrawal problems BUT you saved me and the Insurance Company from a big bill
Looks nice, but the thing I really notice is how fast the new board is. 4 times as fast over my satellite connection than the old board at least! But I sure miss the chatroom – SOON?
