Pro Gear Neoprene Chest waders

Hi
A friend od mine is offering, for $41, a Pro Gear Neoprene Chest waders , size XL, and I was wondering if this is a decent chest wader. It-s 3 mm thick, and it looks good, only been used couple of times. It comes in the sock foot model (so not felt sole).
Can you tell me if this is a good price for it?

Personally don’t know much about that brand but that’s not a bad price and 3mm could be a good choice. However, why is your friend selling …could it be that he has gone to breathables?..might be a message there…

I see Riverdancer has a pair of Orvis’s in the For Sale section that look like a good deal.

I think you might be thinking of Pro-Line
They are basic low priced gear. Around $65 new.
Neoprenes are not in “fashion” right now.
Breathables have taken over.
But neoprenes are tough, fit tightly, with is good in fast water and the price is right.
You might find them to be too warm in the summer though.

I have some Pro Gear Breathables… they are wal-mart’s waders… mine were $85.oo new and I bought them in april and they worked great till some of the bootie began to separate from the waders, but I patched it and they work fine…I like them…considering I dont have the money to purchase Sims

41 bucks…Do you do any fall and or early season fishing??..If so…those will come in handy during the cooler times…your friend may wish he’d kept them at those times as well! Sounds like a good deal to me…even as backups !!
