Preferences (computer)

I have only 2 options under preferences

Store Username & Password in browser memory for 1 year (otherwise you will have to type your username and password once per browser session)

and

Default Topic View:

Cookies are enabled on my computer and I have tried clearing them and starting over. Do other users have more options under Preferences? I use Explorer 5.2 on a Mac running OS X Version 10.4.2.

Those are the only options I see.

Yup, … Except, … I use the Browser to store my user name and password (not safe I know, …)

Blue-

Are you having a problem?

Not having a problem but somebody mentioned missing lightbulbs and was advised this could be a preferences problem. I didn’t see light bulbs in the preferences and just wondered if there might be other things I wasn’t seeing. I guess I misunderstood the the answer to the light bulb problem.

Acrually, … I haven’t seen light bulbs for 9 months.

not sure if it’s because I use FireFox, … but I get along anyway.

Hey Guys,

Gee, I feel sorry for ya’ll. I not only
get the light bulbs, but the Hardy Girl GIF
and the 50% off coupons.G Warm regards,
Jim

Is that 50% of the Hardy girl?

Which 50% of the Hardy Girl do you see?

i never knew there were lightbulbs!
now i gotta figure why i cant see em.

i use firefox also

I was the one that lost the Light Bulbs on my new PC. Very helpfull to see what’s been hit since the last visit.
I reset my secruity to “Allow Cookie” and everythin was fine again.
I also set my preferences to the one year setting. Now the only time I have to type my username and password is to “Edit” a post.

I feel more like I do now than I did when I got here!

Jack-

Definite progress, but you shouldn’t even have to enter your UserName and Password to edit a post.

Due to the absence of a “preview” option, I often need to edit a post, but never have to enter the UserName and Password. They are already filled in on the screen I get after clicking the edit button on my post.
