A little while ago I received the type of phone call we all dread. It was a call from the wife of my good friend and fishing buddy, ‘Snipe’. He’s a member of the FAOL community and many of you know him. Apparently, late last night he didn’t feel well. He went to the hospital and while there he suffered a very bad stroke. He was flown to a regional hospital. His wife was informed by the doctors that it’s not looking good.
You guys have always been extremely supportive of fellow FAOLers and some amazing things have happened. Perhaps your prayers and good thoughts for ‘Snipe’(Bill Lavris) will help. It appears he really could use them.
God be with you and your family, Ol’ Bill. I pray that we get the chance to fish together the next time I’m in the southern tier. Speedy recovery - we’re all pulling for ya!
Prayers of course, but included are my thanks to you for posting this and I can’t think of a better place. Please keep us informed as you see fit. ‘Snipe’ is certainly a solid member of our family and we all care. You can tell his wife that there are thousands of prayers for him this day. Be sure she is well attended if possible.
Our thoughts and prayers to the Larvis family in this very difficult time for them. Hopefully Bill will recover from this and again join his family and of course his friends here on FAOL
