As some of you know I have a small camping group that has turned into a close knit family. In May one of our members had knee replacement surgery. While recovering her mom died. Now fast forward to a month ago. The family lost a 2 month old baby. Now fast forward to last saterday. The same family that lost the baby(her son) house burned down. With the economics being the way they are there was three families living in the house at the time of the fire. Thank the lord no one was injured. Please keep these folks in your prayers if you wouldn’t mind. Now for the help portion of this post. If anyone would like to donate cloths for the babies, they take a size 2, and 6-9 months or anything else it would be deeply appreciated. If you would like to donate my address is:

We are haveing a 15 family yard sale to help these folks out and I am selling a lot of my rods off and other things as well. These folks will be without a place to live for at least 2 months from what the insurance company said. The insurance company will reimburse them for the cost of housing but that will take at least 2 months. There is only one person working out of the three families. I have obtained employment for one of the members so that makes 2 now working. If you can not help hey that is cool I am just asking. Thanks for all your time
That’s sad news Bob. I will keep those folks in my prayers. My daughter just donated a lot of Baby clothes to a needy gal. I don’t know if she has anything but I will ask. I hate it when bad things happen to good folks. Tell’em I say God will take care of them. Jim
They will be in my prayers. I have some friends who had their house burn to the ground last year and they lost everything they owned. They moved into another house owned by a family member of theirs and a week later were hit with another fire. They got lucky this time and it only did some damage to part of the roof.
I will check and see if my niece has any baby clothes left she hasn’t sold or given away. Are the babies boys or girls ?
Jim thank you very much and rocky I am sorry I forgot to mention they are boys. I am just tired have been on the phone all day trying my best to get this going. These are good people and this year has taken them down bad. It sounds like your friends have not had such a great year either and my heart and prayers go out to them as well.
No need to apologize harleybob. I know all to well what a person goes thru trying to help others out. I myself spent a couple days on the phone after my friends house fire. With in a week we managed to get the family set up with clothes and toys for the three boys they had. Some people donated furniture and several people went out and bought new clothes for the whole family and others donated cash. It does the heart good to see a community come together to help others out in these times.
Wow, that’s quite a year they’ve had. Vicki & I will be keeping them in our prayers. Vicki’s going to check, but I think we’ve got some of the grandkids stuff available. I’ll email ya.
Sorry but I have been in a daze the last few days so I haven’t replied here. First lotech I don’t even know their names. The mothers name is Pam. We had the yard sale and raised just shy of $500 dollars for the family this weekend. I received packages from folks and I want to thank each and everyone of you that donated or prayed for this family. The cloths that were donated were accepted with a lot of tears and the family will send you a thank you card as will I. This is the first time I have done something like this and it restored my faith in my fellow man. We even made the 6 oclock news which was a blessing. People came and bought and then came back with donations to sell. It was awesome. I know the families thank you very much for everything and I thank you all from the bottom of my heart. BOB
