As some of you know, Dad had bypass surgery last month. He’s still in the hospital but getting stronger both physically and mentally. While weak and getting worn out quick he’s pretty much back to his old self. We knew he wouldn’t get to fully recover from the bypass surgery before the docs would proceed with dealing with his aneurysms. Well, now he’s well enough that…
Tomorrow (Wed, Aug 17) at 7:30 am the doctors are going to go to work on the aneurysm in his aorta. They say it should be a fairly simple procedure to put in a stint. Up through a couple veins and pop it in place. Should be an hour to an hour and a half. Please keep Norman and his doctors and other medical staff in your prayers.
My Father in law had the same operations last year and his heart is now the one bit of him that works well!

Thanks everyone. The stint procedure was postponed. Dad’s oxygen levels were low yesterday so they decided to hold off. He went for an MRI to see if the cause might be blood clots in his legs - but there were no clots. They’re going to do a full body scan today. Sure hope they get this thing squared away soon!
