I was driving to Pony, MT on sunday and came across a motorcycle accident. without going into too much detail, the wife passed away and the husband was brought to the hospital, but able to walk, and talk, and be relatively lucid. If my memory serves as well as I hope their names were Joanne and Charles. I would just ask that you would please join me in praying for Joanne and Charles, especially Charles… thank you all and if anyone from the area happens to know them personally, please let me know what is going to happen, as I would like to show my support and offer whatever help I can.
Death…the big sleep…believe me…much worse to see than to actually die, although I haven’t actually died.
Think of it… a totally restful sleep…no dreams…nothing…you wake up being totally refreshed.
Death is like that…except you don’t wake up.
Death in combat,death by accident, and the death of a child…is disconcerting…and unfortunate.
Of course, prayers for both the husband and his wife.
Could we also please pray that all motorcyclists will find the wisdom to wear helmets? Or that our elected Representatives will find the strength to realize how ridiculous it is to have mandatory seatbelt laws, but to have no mandatory helmet laws in many states?
