I have a friend looking for a vendor that would sell the round cylinder foam, used on bluegill poppers, in bulk packs.
Appreciate any help you all can provide.

The request is from Wade Blevins, son of Sam Blevins. Wade is a member here but does not post much. He stays pretty busy. His father, Sam, is the gentleman who showed me how to tie his “Sam’s One Bug” and his bass popper. His father is now in “trout heaven” and Wade has a chance to possibly get his father’s poppers mass produced but Wade needs a supplier that can provide the soft round foam cylinders used to make up the poppers in bulk and not the small packages. You can view his poppers here on FAOL under the FOTW board. Go to search window and type in “Sam’s One Bug” and I think the pattern appears on the second page.
if you look at the foto with the materials to tie the fly, the bag of foam says “feather-craft”

but if he is looking at mass production of these flies he might look at licensing the pattern to rainys

I was thinking Rainy’s as well (but you beat me to it), but more in the thought of getting Rainy’s to supply the foam cylinder in bulk rolls or pre-cut bodies.
If you need them in large quantitiies it would pay to go directly to a manufacturer such as this http://www.precisionfoamassemblies.com/. This is just the first supplier I found in a quick search and I don’t reconmend them without further research and price comparision with other manufactureres. Someone should be able to produce bodies to order in varied colors.
