Went for a float down the Saugeen river with a buddy. The fishing was just OK, all dink trout. However we did ha ve some fun running some old dams:

Looks like a fun day, till the last one rolled over. Hope he kept all his tackle and wasn’t hurt.
I wondered how they would handle the rougher water, guess i dont have much to worry about, lol.

There’s a good lesson there about keeping your boat straight while running rapids. Doesn’t look like sideways works very well.
Big plus I noticed in that rollover… . didn’t see any rods sticking straight up in a rod holder… that coulda been a crappy way to snap a rod! and ruin an otherwise fun ride… Do let us know that your friend is ok! tis why one should always if in moving water, Toon,yak,canoe or even wade… With a friend!
The flip over probably could have been avoided with some back stroking on the oars to keep the toon straight and entering the plunge pool a little slower.
