I was putting line on a reel today that I have not used in years, an Orvis CFO 3. This reel is a 1970 production model. Is there a way to change this reel from left hand to right hand retrive? I thought there was, but I can’t remember. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks
There are two pawls inside the reel…reverse them. Which ever one is engaging the gear turn it away from the gear. The other should be turned away…swing it so it engages the gear. Hope this make sense.
