Please help. I am looking for a particular modified hackle

As you scroll down the page you will see hackle pliers. The ones marked “large” and “midge” are what I am looking for with one exception, the ones I am looking for have welded on each side a flat piece of brass I think to better handle the pliers. Does anyone know of a source where I can buy them?

It appears they have what you want; (see item ST-9114, ST-9115). Maybe if you contact them they could hook you up with a source or sell to you direct.

Orvis has them also, as well as a few of the fly tying supply houses. They are 6.95 at Orvis
