There is some thread sticking out of the head on the side closest to the camera. There is something like fine mono sticking up from the head, and there are a couple of trapped hackle fibers. Mind you, I had to view the picture of the fly at full screen on my 19 inch monitor to see all that. Couldn’t see anything with the naked eye.
Thanks for posting the photos, I enjoy seeing other non-professional’s end products. I have never participated in a swap but this encourages me to do so.
