Photo Bucket

Anybody having problems with photo bucket?

I use to be able to click the right image code to copy the link then paste
into the image box here on FAOL.

Recently it longer copies the link ? It dose show the word copied
after I click the photo link but to no avail.

I know this is not teck support for photo bucket , just wondering
if others have had this problem in photo bucket.

Wait a minute:

I can get it to work if I right click the mouse and select copy… yes!
Have no idea why the change in method is necessary? but I am not complaining…anymore

I know I should take this up with photo bucket, but now if any of my FAOL famdamly has this small problem
this seem to work good.

Happy new year…

Works for me.

Me to with my work around… Nice photo Kerry!

Yep threes a charm, I am back in business…

Steve: I got tired of using Photo Bucket to post just one or two pictures to FAOL. I found it is much easier to just put them in my post in thumbnail size. Tim

Example below.

How cool is that. I will give it a go!

Thanks

Works for me.

Works for me too!

Steve, when you left click on the image code and highlight it, just right click and copy. Bring it to your FAOL post, right click and paste.

Hey, it works!

BobbyG

yep !!

John,

Now that is cool!

I know it’s you because of your signature glove…

Could somebody help a low-tech individual learn how to do thumbnails? Careful now, this is going to be a new trick for an old dog.

for photobucket users

click on the thumbnail photo above. if thats what your looking to do, the use the code shown in the foto below

Lo Tech: See if this makes sense as I am not a good explainer (lol). Tim

  1. Have the photo(s) on your desk top. I keep mine in a folder.

  2. When starting a post or responding to a post look below where you place the message and you will see a window that says “Additional Options”.

  3. Click on “Manage Attachments”

  4. Another window will open thay says manage attachments. Click on “browse” and find your picture…

  5. Click on “Upload”. This should put your picture in the message as a thumbnail.

  6. Repeat for additional pictures.

  7. Click on “Submit reply”

HELPFUL HINT: When done click on “Preview Post” to make sure you have it right and to give you a chance to go back and resize the photo if desired.

A concrete contractor friend in New Mexico sent me this photobucket image. He labeled it " Perfection is NOT always possible". Thankfully the job was to be finished “rough broom- rustic”.

Just now, after seeing this image posted here, he called me to say, at first the state inspector accused him of bringing his cat to do the “effects”. However, further forensic studies absolved him and the job was accepted/passed. Note how the "critter “jumped” the line. Must have been superstitious

I’ll give it a try.

Let me try this one.

Panman, I couldn’t get your idea to work. Probably my system configuration.
Normand, Yours worked for me.
Thanks to both of you.

i learned something here about photobucket… good post
