I hope this works…

Here is Gov. Pawlenty’s response:

I love the response!!! I most like the last line.

please pass the tartar sauce and more garlic toast as well

I’ve never heard any complaints from any walleye, catfish, trout, bass, bluegill, etc. I think everyone at PETA needs to go fishing, they seem a bit uptight… Poor miserable slobs!

There’s almost nothin’ wrong with the first lie, it’s the weight of all the others holdin’ it up that gets ya’! - Tim

You had me worried Fly_Line!

For a moment I thought that PETA was planning on collecting all the Walleyes in Minnesota, euthanize over 80% of them and throw them in dumpsters (the way they do pets.)

That would have created a stink that I could have smelled all the way out here in California!

Dear fly_line,

I’d move to Minnesota just to vote for Governor Pawlenty.

Hip-hip-hooray for him!

Regards,
Tim Murphy

A long time ago I lived in Minnesota for a few years. Outlawing walleye fishing there would be like telling Boston it had to shut down the Freedom Trail, like telling New Orleans to cancel Mardi Gras, like, well, you get the picture.

Frankly, I can’t stand that governor. Or at least I couldn’t stand him until today. That last line is a hoot! And now I’m hungry.

Life should not be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in a pretty and well preserved body, but rather to skid in broadside, thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and loudly proclaiming-WOW—What A Ride!

Well, now. There IS a MN billboard for Rapala that says “Cast it out. Fish bring it back.”

Maybe that’s where those gibbering PETA flapdragons got the idea.
