Eric,
That site is definately waaayyyyyyy over my head . These guys are photographers with BIG Pentax guns. My W-30 would draw subdued/polite chuckles at best.
Mark
I’m with Mark on this one. I’ll stick with my Kodak Brownie. Jim
Marco,
Don’t be so sure about that. Back in the days of film cameras, professionals often carried a small portable point and shoot camera for convenience for those impromptu moments. Today many use a digital point and shoot. While there images may not make the cover of Arizona Highway magazine, there are some spectular images captured by p&s.

I’ve been a member of PentaxForums.com for a while now…
Don’t be intimidated, they have a forum section just for Pentax point-and-shoot cameras. Expert advice, and they are nice to newbies.
A highly recommended site!
DANBOB
DANBOB,
Way cool you being there!
Marco and others of the point and shoot type cameras here is what DANBOB was talking about as their point and shoot (P&S) forum. This is just one thread there:
Harold Hattaway once gave me some sound advice when I was considering a camera for Amy. He told me not to sell the digital Point & Shoot cameras short. They are easy to operate and can take art quality pictures. He was correct. Thank you, Harrold. Rest In Peace my friend.
