Just wondering, is there any place other than the Decal Connection to get decals for rod building? I have nothing against Decal Connection I’ve been happy with my purchases. I just looked at their site and it seems they’re charging a flat $7.00 postage fee, unless I’ve read it wrong. I can’t see paying that much if I get 2 or 3 decals that weight nothing. Someone correct me if I’m wrong please.

That is one of the reasons I haven’t gone to decals. The price isn’t bad, but the shipping is a deal killer. Mudhole does 3 line custom printed stick on’s. At least there you can combine with blank or supply orders to reduce the overall shipping price. They also do custom graphics, but the setup fee and minimum order limit is to much for my low volume.

I get mine from Mudhole. I get the logo decals from them as well. I like the decals themselves much better than those from Decal Connection. I usually order the decal with the cork or whatever else I am ordering for that rod.
I am looking for a thermal transfer printer so I can do my own. One of those little printers used in shipping departments to print UPS and FedEx labels would be perfect.
Jannsnetcraft also sell decals. They seem to have a flat S & H rate but I just order everything at once to defray the shipping costs. For me it’s catalog or internet orders or a $40.00 tank of gas and a 4 hour round trip to the nearest fly fishing shop that sells rod building/fly tying materials and componants. Iastchance i just ordered 2 decals from Decal Connection last month and the total was just over $7.oo total the shipping was $.90. Just call them and ask about the shipping. They are verry nice to work with. Chuck
If Decal Connection will ship for $.90, they should put this on their website. At that price I would consider using them.
