My Dad has been dead for 29 years. I think of him every day.
My Dad is always with me.
These days he is 6’-5 inches tall, a 1st degree black belt, fourteen years young and a most wonderful Son. who is turning into a good man just like his grandfather.
It simply dose not get any sweeter…

Yes…Happy Fathers Day to all…especially my dad who’s been gone 21 yrs already…if it weren’t for him and my grandfather, I would probably never have wet a line. Hope every dad is enjoying their day. I just (like 10 minutes ago) arrived home from spending 2 days fishing the Beaverkill and Willowemoc…the Beaverkill was far too crowded for my liking, so I spent more time on the Willow. Had some nice browns up to 16" and a couple of decent brookies. We had a thunderstorm pass thru about 4:30pm yesterday…but the fishing afterwards was great…so much was swept into the river that the fish put on the feedbag pretty good. I’ve never seen so many rises. Most of my fish were caught on a stimulator along with an olive bugger. Wish I had some pix, put the only digital I have is a Nikon D40…kinda clumsy to carry on the river. I have to get a smaller camera to keep in my vest pocket. How about it…any other dads go fishing today?
