mash barb; start thread, tie in CH, fold back and wrap halfway down the bend, trim shuck (gap width)
moisten biot, tie in notch-side down; wrap to point above point, tie off/trim
dub thread, dub rear of thorax
double over a hank of CH to create a loop; tie in
insert loop in gallows, tie in hackle at base
