I put the link to the eagle camera on Berry College a couple of weeks back. The eaglets are due any day now, but this was recorded by the surveillance system recently. The attack is incredible quick even in slow motion, the owl hits the eagle at the 23 second mark and is gone by the 24 second mark. I had no idea a great horned owl would consider a bald eagle as prey.
Unfortunately it says the video is unavailable.
You can see it here:

Don’t blink or you’ll miss the owl attack. Mrs. Eagle was not a happy momma.
P.S. I attended college there for one year, and worked on the college forestry crew. We worked all over the college’s 30,000 or so acres, but I never recall seeing or hearing of eagles there back then.
The FAOL server doesn’t like my new computer for some reason. I cut and pasted the link into the explorer address and the link opened up. It will not let me paste into a message either.

Is this Macbeth?
Well, it was definitely one fell swoop.
If you are interested, the eaglets were hatched yesterday. Google “Berry College EagleCam” and it will take you to the link. FAOL is not letting me copy and paste to this website at the moment.
