Some of us have slow computers. It would be very helpful if the original post displayed the date of the event. I have difficulty planning my future. I would like to attend an event…but one that fits my life schedule is hard to find. I waste a lot of time clicking on an “Event Coming UP” only to find that is already done and over. It is not really a current event or even an upcoming event. It is history.
Gosh, I really haven’t checked that lately. Sorry, I’ll try and do some maintenances on that.
No big deal LF. I don’t mind the out of date being on there. I might want to look at one just because of it’s location and read the info on the event for future ideas. But I thought it would be neat if the ORIGINAL post stated the state and location, and date. Then I would know without having to open the thread and read it, then close it and try to go somewhere else on the website to look at other good stuff. I could tell at first glance whether it was a state I was not interested in, a time of year I couldn’t go, or was already over. It would just would be quicker and more succinct for us readers.

If you hold the curser over the original post line, it’ll tell you the date and time it was posted. Kewl new feature on the made-new boards!!

Yes Betty, I agree that is a good feature. But check out Upcoming Events and you will find surprises sorta. Example is RexW post kinda tells me where and when. I don’t even have to open it to know where it is and when…and knowing where I am and my current plans…I can’t make that one.
Now check the Woody post. No idea where or when but it is in New Zealand! Gurantee I won’t be at that one…but had to open it to find out. Seems petty maybe. But there is sooooo much good fun stuff to read on this website. I am sitting on a lake and computer a bit slow. Speeding it up would be a great help to me…and perhaps others. I could spend more time reading stuff I want to read…instead of stuff that I do not have any interest in.

I tried to make it easy! 
We had fun last weekend. TFO came out and brought an example of everyone of their rods with them. I was a lot of fun to get the opportunity to cast every rod model that they make.
