Outcast Large Wader Bag

Very similiar to my hunting equipment progression, at first I was about the rifle itself only later to figure out that a good jacket and boots were as important as the rifle to be able to pursue and be successful at what I was after. At first in fly fishing it was all about the rod, the reel and the line. These days I find myself more concerned with all of the things that make the trip convenient. One of these items that I have been after for a couple of years now is a nice Wader bag. Waders just thrown in the back of the truck can get damaged. I found this very nice, very large Outcast wader bag at a closeout price: http://www.mrfc.com/MadisonRiverShopping/SearchResult.aspx?CategoryID=4

Haven’t used it yet, but it arrived today, very quick shipping and I put my wading boots and waders in the bottom, wet storage area of the bag and the top has plenty of room for other things. I’m hoping that this extra organization and protection of my equipment will make my fishing trips more enjoyable.

Rick-
I’ve used that exact bag for air travel on flyfishing trips for many years as a carry on. I’ve been happy with it and it has held up well. No issues.
Scott Kessler

That’s good to know Scott. I was actually surprised at the size of the bag. In the photo I know that it is shown with some wading boots, but until I received it, I thought it was going to be smaller. I really think that I can put my wading boots, my wife’s and both of our waders in just the wet storage part of that bag and still have lots of room in the top for wading jackets, vest etc. When they say large bag, it really is.
