Has any one tried this line. I just bought one for my 8wt cant believe how good it casts I can cast the entire line very easily. Very impressed
How long is the line?
According to the website, the lines are 90 feet in 1-7 weight and 105 feet in 8-9 weight.
Easily?
I was thinking about cutting a DT in half so I could say that too
gee whiz Gramps, I remember just the other day you said you could cast a line on a fast rod 20yards farther than on a slower action rod.
A little guesstamation puts that at about the same distance if not more. 8)
I think I need one of those lines; I’m having troubles with the ‘whole line thing.’ Easily sounds good.

Not hardly. I don’t cast slow rods very far.
edit…Oops. I see I said yds. It’s the golfer in me. You know I meant ft.
vtfisher, I know what you are saying. That for a very inexpensive line, it doesn’t cast like it.
It is a great line, however it does require dressing occassionally. Unlike the Generation X line that has that SPECIAL coating.
Heck for all I know, Silver Label is the pre - Gen. X. SA makes Orvis lines also.
I bought the Silver Label Hy-Flote and I will agree with you, plus it has an extral-long head section that makes mending easier and increase casting distance.
Right On! 8)
