Hi, all. I am selling an Orvis Far & Fine rod. This is a classic rod from Orvis- two piece, 7’9" for a 5 weight line. This one is a later model, with a maroonish sanded blank. Except for a little grip soiling, the rod is in as-new condition. It has the original cloth sack and Cordura covered tube. It last sold for $345, I believe. I’m asking $275, which includes insured shipping to the U.S. “lower 48”. Any questions- please contact me. BTW- I have a 100% rating on ebay. You’ll get what you pay for!

What does it say on the butt of the rod? If I may ask…

Hey Catman,

That style of Superfine rods don’t have anything on the rod butt.

They have the sanded, burgundy blank. The older, unsanded gray blanks had the rod’s information scribed on the rod butt.

I have some of both, and they are both fine rods. (no pun intended)
