Orvis CFO III - 20th Anniversary Edition

Selling an Orvis CFO III 20th Anniversary Edition reel in very good used condition. Other than some wear to finish at the edges, the reel is in great condition. This was a limited run reel with a clear platinum finish. Hardy made and fully machined with click and pawl drag system.

Reel is sold pending receipt of funds (thanks Tommy!)

Thanks

I lowered the price since my truck decided to give me a “service engine soon” message today… $135, shipped to any lower-48 destination. Sorry, with the truck talking to me, I can’t consider trades just now.

Thanks

Sold to Tommy pending payment…

Thought this reel was sold but I haven’t seen the payment as yet… I will give it another day and if the payment does not show, I will make it available to board members again. My asking price was $135, and that includes shipping to lower 48 states. Stay tuned…

Thanks

Steve,

Just as a matter of curiosity, what weight lines work well on this reel? Prosser? Where the heck is Prosser? (Sorry, Gazateer is in the fishing rig where it belongs)

I suspect the capacity of this reel is the same as the current version of the CFO III:

Says the guy from Yelm. Prosser is on the dry side of the state on the Yakima River. (Says the guy who grew up in Benton County)

Hey Ron… I know, right? I asked the same thing of my wife when she decided to take her teaching job over here in the Yak Valley - “Where the heck IS Prosser?”

Prosser is about 25 minutes west of Richland, on I-82, situated on the Yakima River. More importantly, it’s about an hour to the Yakima Canyon and/or the Naches River, and about 1 hour and 45 minutes to the Klickitat. There’s also smallmouth fishing between here and Richland on the Lower Yakima.

As to the capacity of this C.F.O. III Click and Pawl, it is rated for 4 to 6 weight lines.

Searuns, I’m ready to Paypal it right now. Let me know and I’ll click the button…
