Hello, I have some extra sparkle yarn that I would like to sell. These are the original yarns Gary Lafontaine calls for on several of his flies. The Sparkle Pupa series being the most popular. I do not want to sell the yarn by the skein. I would like to sell it for 8 yards for $1.00. Supplies would be limited and would be on a first come, first serve basis. In one of GLF’s videos he says that there were 3 manufacturers of that yarn. I recall that Dazzleaire(sp) is one. Is that what you have?
I think I’ll re-watch that video to make sure about what he said.

Tyeflies, There were several brands of this type of yarn. Most of what I have is Dazzle Aire but I also have others.All are correct for Lafontaine’s flies. Jax, They no longer make these yarns. This is the reason they are so hard to find. You can get a few yards of this type of yarn on the card from a few shops but it is difficult to find skeins of it in any of the good colors. I will post a list of colors on “Things For Sale” on Saturday.Those of you who have replied to this topic will have first choice in the order you posted. I bought 400 ft of 4 differnt colors from a person in Mt that suppled them to Gary if anyone wants this persons e-mail e-mail Me and I’ll give it to you or look up posts with my name in them to get the name of the person as they have Large rolls of this yarn and that is how mine came I paid like 20 bucks for a plastic grocery bag full Matt
