I feel so inadequate now.

You told me about them on another forum, FTF. They weren’t that easy to find in big stores. I found them in a unfinished furniture store. Thats when I tried Amazon and found them cheaper. I’m actually going to order another one. I figured I’d pass it along to him and make his search easier.

That is definetely my dream fly tying set-up !!!
TB you know what I miss understood your post, I read it as that they were double on Amazon and had to be ordered, I reread it and understand now what you were trying to say…
Like my old SSM used to say “nice guy tries hard, not real bright!!”
I understand what you are trying to say now… better deal from Amazon…
Ray.
I use these, along with plastic bins.

You can stain them or paint them to fit your own decor. I just never got around to it. I like them because they are cheap, sturdy and look better than plastic on my tying bench.
That’s an old photo… my desk is now in another room and the Ikea box units are stacked from the floor.
Now, THAT is a tying bench I can relate to!
FFFWX,
i dont have any trouble with materials turning off fish after being in with the cedar. In fact, most of the flies i tie catch fish, and i now tie for a small group of people, and they havent complained yet, so i dont think its a problem. As for chips, i started with those, and they got into all the materials, and i didnt like that, so blocks work just as nice.

Thanks and I am on the hunt for the Blocks now.!
Tight lines and Happy times at the vise!
hungNtree and everyone else, go to Staples. com and check out the store brand storage units. They have 5&6 drawer Iris storage carts. I checked thelocal store in Sedalia, Mo. they had both in stock for $29.99. That is the everyday price, not a sale price. Take care, John
