Hi all. Got some excellent suggestions about fishing the Billings/Red Lodge Montana areas. Now it appears that an additional opportunity might present itself.
Any suggestions concerning fishing in Oregon in mid-June? We will probably be staying in Portland, OR but, again, driving an hour or hour and a half is doable.
Any suggestions as to where to go?

My sugestion is to hit the Deschutes either around Maupin or between Mecca and Trout Creek. It’s a bit of a drive but is a doable day trip from Portland. You will not have the river to yourself, but fishing should be good. As the time gets closer check for reports at www.deschutesangler.com
