I’m looking for some orange crystal flash without the GREEN HUE. I bought some about 10 to 12 years ago without the green hue and can not find it anymore. I also don’t remember where I bought it or the name of the company that made it. I use this flash for some of my flash back hares ears nymphs and only have two strands left. Can someone direct me in buying some. Thanks. Later.
The green hue is the flash part of the crystal flash?
In any event, you can go buy some cheetos or other snack and cut it up. You can also find sheets of it as gift/flower film. Perhaps you can buy some flowers and ask them to sneak in a sheet for your tying. One sheet will tie up a lot of flashbacks or other tinsel applications. Here’s some you can ask for:

101 - are you sure your orange KFlash isn’t really Flashabou? Does it have a twist to it?
A lot of the current generation of Mylar based thin foils have a very thin coating that diffracts incoming light. If you have a base orange material, the green you perceive is the ‘complementary’ wavelength to the orange. It’s like the Newton Rings that form when a drop of gasoline spreads out on a puddle of water - the iridescent colors you see tell you very exactly the thickness at each point of the gasoline film - literally a factor of the wavelength of that color: so many Angstroms or nanometers.
So if you don’t want that green overtone in your orange, you need a fiber that’s not so high tech.

I’m sure it is krystal flash Les. Here are a couple of pics.
