One of my favorite fishing pics this year...

One of my favorite fishing pictures I took this year. This was my hiking buddy casting to some rising cutties just as the sun was going down. The lighting for a while was just excellent.

This was on one of my fish planting trips in the Lake Chelan - Sawtooth Wilderness this summer.

Very nicely composed. A “moment” type photograph. Thanks for posting it.

I did not realize that my casting looked that good!

Great image!

amazing picture

Very nice! I’m impressed.

Fishing is cool, fishing is fun, but when you share it with someone it becomes alot more special, I understand your enjoying this picture other than it being a really good picture, its a picture of a friend enjoying your fishing with you. I don’t know if I worded all this right or not, But alot is said in my signature below my post’s…

What a great memory. Thanks for sharing.
Merry Christmas to all

A nice “tight loop.” It looks like the caster has at least 50 feet of line and leader in the air.

Sweet Picture!!!

Outstanding, thanks!
Kelly.

wow great shot! the ambient light is insane, are you sure you dont have a spot flash behind that rock? haha great “catch!”

Glad everybody liked it! And no, Sekliw, only light in the picture was provided by mother nature.

What an amazing picture to capture the fly line like it is.
Awesome, thanks for sharing the picture
