One favorite "Trout Photo"

Poke 'em, I agree with Grubb. Excellent photo!!!

This one isn’t my #1 favorite (the best one I have is still on film and hasn’t been digitized yet), but it is one of the most beautiful fish I’ve ever caught and probably a close second. Cutthroat on the Green River just below Flaming Gorge dam:

I’ll humiliate myself and show you all a pretty funny one too:

This fat rainbow decided he didn’t want his pic taken and tried to escape! I almost dropped him. LOL.

I am not sure who has the funniest look you the fish or the dog
that is one heck of a nice photo,

My favorite one was taken on the Fryingpan River many years ago. I had landed a rather large hooked-jaw male rainbow and was setting up for a photo op with the nice fish.

The fish jumped out of my hands just as the picture was being taken. The final picture looks like I am hugging the fish as I caught it before it went into the water. My head is looking up and I have this big smile on my face like I am saying, “Thank you God!” It is a classic picture.

If I wasn’t out of town right now I would try and get a digital copy in the next few days. Unfortunately, you’ll have to wait for a few weeks instead…

Yours is much better. Thanks for bringing out the hidden beauty.

Releasing first Lake Erie Steelhead (scan):

A McCloud

Favorite (and biggest) brown I have ever caught. (from 2006)

what a horse!

Don’t be too impressed,I should have stated it’s a lake run fish not a resident river brown;)

I just really liked the colors on him though.

Grande Ronde steelhead just released…

This one is probably one of my favs first time out brown trout fishing at Elora Gorge, Ontario.

He caught it and landed it. …within 5 minutes of starting fishing for the day!

Wow love this photo!

I was thinking the same thing spinner. One to be kept for sure for memories.

Way to go Joe!

Wow, great pics guys.

I’ll post this one for Buzz. Can’t say it is his favorite fish pic, but he did call this one the “fish of a lifetime.”
