The phone number I got off their web site and the email address there do not work.

OK, Rick, I must have missed something. You were trying to get ahold of Old Town to get something. When you couldn’t reach them you had it (something) made locally. What I missed is for what were you looking?

Rick, I had a similar experience earlier this year. Needed to replace a transom board. E-mailed them to see if they had one. It went into the black hole and I never heard from them. Got a slab of oak locally and made it myself. We really like the canoe.
Not that this helps you in any way, but misery does love company.
