That’s a great score friend. Hang on to that. Thanks for sharing.

he-man dudes from when I as 3 haha!

Know a guy who has that issue and it’s sweet. Still trying to get him to give it up but it ain’t workin.

I’d say, keep it, read it BUT keep it pretty nice, as it looks…someday, someday…you may part with it and should do so at a maximum.

I used to be interested in restoring vintage small appliances, specially Hobart and Sunbeam Mixers and managed to score a repair manual for all Sunbeam small appliances…this was the one certifid repair guys got with schematics ect…

Anyhow, nailed it at a local auction for about 6 bucks, read it, used it for about 3 years and then sold it for about 250…that 250 funded my first Fly fishing purchases!

Don’t always go the eBay route, offer up to “known interested” groups and ask for a fair price…you’ll get it!

I have the 1972 edition of that little booklet. Cover prices is $1.25

Back inside cover has an ad for the Abu Delta fly reel.

Hi FA69,

Strangely enough I have exactly the same book (cover and all) in the same edition. I think mine came for free with a Garcia fiberglass fly rod. 8T

How about this book from 1934:

I was given a copy of the '72 edition authored by Lefty Kreh by my mother-in-law a couple of years ago. Had been down in the basement forever? Anywho, took it with me one day on a trip to Baltimore, MD. Lefty was doing some book signing, etc. - his faced lit up when I showed him the book, even better when I asked him to sign it. He shared some back ground to those series…priceless fer sure!
