…all names must contain “Ohiotuber” and reference salt water gills. Mike must provide pictures of the official christening ceremony. All are encouraged to partake in this grand ritual. This should be great fun. Here are a few things to consider: We ate at the Iron Bridge Inn. We shopped at the Woolrich store in the Grove City Outlet Mall. After eating we took a look at Neshannock Creek.
I want to thank Mike for a great day. We had a lot of fun. What a great friend.
Naming this canoe may be a bit difficult if " ohiotuber" must be used. Kinda like trying to find a word that rhymes with “orange”. But here goes: " ohiotubers canoe". Oh please, no applause. No need to rise. Remain seated. Really, please sit down.
Sorry if you responded and I lost your post. Had to delete the entire post to change that darned typo I had in the topic. It was bugging me. That’s what 440 miles of driving can do to a person.
Now I know you folks know how to “bend” rules. How about Ohiotuber on the transom plate and some type of reference to salt water gills on the rest of the hull? Perhaps something like “Salt Water Gill Patrol”?
Eric;
Super photo’s!! Almost forgot what that chubby Irishman looked like!! And, if he think’s we’re taking the yacht to Tennesee he better get the bow up so we can see the road!!
"ohiotubers Green Catchin’Machine!! Nah, too long, would sink the ship!
Ok! Knowing what a devoted family man Mike is how about. “ohiotuber” on the stern and the “The Flanagan Family” on the side’s? Being and adopted “Uncle” I would fit in too!
I’d be very proud to ride in that yacht!
Don’t forget the Michigan Fish-In August 14th to the 20th. The Holy Water’s of the Au Sable await you!!

<snoring peacefully> Hmmph <snort> wha… what? Who’s coming to Tennessee? When? Omigosh. Run! Hide! Go fishing!!!
I’ll vote for Green Weenie. That could describe either the boat or the occupants after a day on rough water, although “Green to the Gills” might do both, as well.

Two names. One side will read, “Ohio Tubers Executive Canoe #3”. The other side will read, “Ohio Tubers Executive Canoe #7”. A nice touch that could be added too might be a smaller placement on each side designating " The Big Kahuna" or some such name. This is an idea stolen directly from the official FAOL vehicle.
Eric…it was a great day! Thanks, & we have to get on the water soon. When you & Amy come over, I’ll get you on a great pond. Private, so no license required.
Jack…I could see about as good as always! I have to get the “high” foam blocks. I know they are available.
EdD…Jack & I are headed down to Tullahoma on 6/22 to fish with WarrenP…stopping to see DLeo6446 in Nashville on the way. Probably meet him at his Sears store, so if you want to join us, shoot me an email.
Thanks to all, this is a fun post!
Mike
