very hard to catch & worth a lot of money!
Nice fish! The koi out here are super tough. I have caught a couple, but they are ultra spooky. A buddy of mine chums them up, but just flat out stalking those buggers is tough. I fondly recall chasing “highway cone” for about seven months before I got that fish to eat! A koi on the fly is a real accomplishment…nice!

The trio of koi I had my eyes on for the last couple years were recently netted and given away when the pond underwent some renovations. I AM BUMMED!
Where are you finding Koi? The only ones around here are in my aquarium.
