I’m take my dog for a walk today (yellow lab) and she decides she wants to misbehave. I don’t put up with that and immediately I go into training mode and start reinforcing all the training she’s had. Normally she is a great dog and I can walk her without a leash, but today she nearly ripped my arm out.
So I’m on the side of a road getting her in a submissive state when some chuckle-head stops his car to tell me to “take it easy”.
WHAT THE *%^$!!!
When did it become a problem to train your dog in this country. Jeeze, I’m pretty liberal, but it’s a freakin dog not my two year old kid. That guy was lucky he stayed in his car before I put him in a submissive state.
There… that’s my rant.
P.S. - No animals where harmed in the making of this rant.

I second your feelings. My parnts have a great pyrenees, she weighs 100lbs. I am the only one that can handle her when she starts. I hear it from my pop all the time when I discipline her beause she is his baby. One day she pulled my mother to the ground and dragged her 15 feet.
I got into it one day with a lady because I was scolding my dog for rearing up and trying to eat a small dog. If my dog got away from me she would have killed that other dog and I would have been responsible for it. People blame problems on the breed and not the owner it should be the other way around. People don’t know the difference between discipline and abuse anymore.
