There is a constantly updating clock at the bottom of some page on this forum which explains that the time is based on GMT +/- your location.
The time shown for me is always about 15 minutes ahead of my actual time.
I have the same issue, Byron. Looks to me like the computer that run’s this website needs the clock reset, or better yet the computer should get its time from a time server.
While computers are great (most of the time) most are not tied into the Atomic Clock system, or whatever they call it now. So, computers don’t always keep really good time and over a period of time they get way off and need to be reset. My last cellphone had a feature that gave me a sweep hand clock and it was accurate down to less than a tenth of a second. Yet, the computer (in this case the one that controls FAOL) is off. Go figure. A cell phone is more accurate than a computer system. Trons.
Depending on the network type being used, it might be preferable to be several minutes off but in sync with the network rather than have the network go into synthetic time.
