Is, this, the fly that you’re referring to,Dudley?
I’ve been tying this fly and having very good success with it, since I ran across the Tap article about 15 years ago!
The milkweed wing looks just like polar bear in the water, gives off “great shine” and besides being very durable, it’s FREE!! (unlike, polar bear!).
