It’s time for the October SOTM. According to the list, Rawfish is hosting this month.
So what’s up with October, Rawfish MIA?
I’ll PM him and see what’s up. If nothing else, I’ll host this month. We should know something by tomorrow.
I think rawfish has been gone for a while, and I neglected to update the roster. My apologies. Since it was my error, I will host this month. If anyone wants my November slot, it’s yours.
Since the flies will be due at the first of November, the theme will be (you guessed it…)Turkeys! Either of the two species; Meleagris gallopavo, or Meleagris occellata, will be fine. And yes, marabou comes from turkeys, so it qualifies. Any pattern is OK as long as least one part of it comes from a turkey. I will tie a Red-Headed Marabou Leech.

I have to stop tying and swapping. An old back injury is coming up again. I have to lie flat on my back for at least three weeks and the doctor prescribed Morphine. I can’t use my left leg, every movement is painfull!
