I guess I’m up for this month. I would like to see YOUR favorites- favorites to tie, to fish or just one you have always wanted to tie and haven’t gotten around to. Please share the backstory if you have one.
One of my favorites is Skip Morris’ Gabriel’s Trumpet. It was the first nymph that I really felt like I tied well. I gained confidence from tying it and so it is my pick to tie for you this month. Luke

Hope so Rick. I cheaped out and only sent 8 to the Captain for August! I ran out of dumbell eyes and didn’t want to put it off any longer than I already had.
Yes, I believe that is correct. Eight participants. I have always liked the Stimulator. I found and modified a version called the Crystal Stimulator, so I will tie you my version, probably in olive. It’s a great floater for a dry dropper rig, good as a Yellow Sally or large Caddis and also a good grasshopper in larger sizes.
jwb1977’s just arrived. Nice ties all. I will try to sort them this evening. Hopeful to drop them in the post tomorrow, but with the forcast here I may be busy the next few days. Temps plummeting and rain-ice-snow.
