Oh yeah! The whole game beginning to end both teams put on a show.
Can you believe that they are all professionals with million + contracts putting it all on the line for their countries?
If this keeps up I will have to call in sick for the finals…USA, USA, USA…
Go USA that was the best hockey game I have seen in years. Both teams left it all on the ice. MVP of the game was Miller in the net for the USA.
Miller was playing like he was bcak at Michigan State, Go Green !!! Go USA !!!
I didn’t see a thing. Weren’t they showing Ice dancing instead of the game. Then they “Broke from ice dancing” to show the last 10 seconds of the game and then stuck around after the game for 10 minutes… SHOWING NOTHING!
It was on MSNBC
It was a great game & I loved the coverage, the extra cameras like the ice level camera showed great replays!
Why was an Olympic event on MSNBC?
I watched earlier and they had the WHOLE Russian/Czech game on. Wish I’d have known to change channels from Olympic coverage to another channel. Pretty crazy if you asked me.
Gotta check a few a chanels NBC, USA MSNBC
here is a link to a very good page that tells you when and where to find the broadcasts.

i don’t care for ice hockey, i don’t follow ice hockey, and i didn’t understand a word that the commentators were saying, but WOW!! even i could see that was an amazing game, and i watched every minute! that is the power of an excellent sporting event: you don’t need to know anything and it’s still exciting!
Don’t forget CNBC, too. I saw some good early round hockey games (if there is such a thing) on there the other day.
Go U.S.A. All the way!
Thanks for the link. Wish they’d make it more known on the main coverage what is being shown where.
MSNBC is the curling channel. who is the genius that thinks everyone want to watch every curling event. there are 84 events and iseems curling gets the most coverage.
[FONT=Tahoma]Curling isn’t the only event they show on MSNBC, they are playing Hockey also on this channel. What is happening is there are so many events going on at the same time they are plugging in coverage where they can. Like CaseyP said check out the link and you should find your local coverage. The other day my tool partner and I were having lunch and the TV’s were tuned to the Olympics and curling was on.
I had never seen it before.
I thought it seemed like a dumb event. Sorry, I don’t like dumb stuff.
Anyway, he said, “Seen any shots of the spectators?”
“Well, no, I haven’t.” I replied.
“That’s because there aren’t any.” He said.
Just a quick thought. Although this board is hosted in the US, there are scads of folks from other countries, including some who have become admired friends, on this board as well. When I saw the U.S. hockey victory over Canada, I have to admit that within seconds I was thinking of Gnu Bee Tyer. When I think of Edinburgh, I cannot help but think of Donald Nicolson. I am fervently happy to know that I have friends (like Hans Weilenmann) in Low Places. While I do support the US, let’s not forget about the other folks and other countries out there. That should be the “mainest” point of the Olympics, in my opinion.

Yes, we do seem to forget about the other fine folks on FAOL from far away countries such as yourself and including some who have become admired friends on this board like you said. You just don?t think about countries, you only put a name, face or a saying with the individual not where they live so I would need to agree with you.
Now back to the Hockey
“Go USA”
End of the first period…Score 0-0 Shots on goal 18 US to 4 SUI…one US PK…I hate being at work when there’s a good game on.
Hiller must be standing on his head today to make all of those stops.
ARRRRRGGHHHH!!!
End of the second…Score still 0-0. US had 14 SOG…3 PPs…1 PK…only 4 SOG for the Swiss.
Keep throwing them at him…SOMETHING has to get through to the back of the net.
GO USA!!!
