I have alot to be thankful for… The last seven years of my life have been awesome. My fishing has been the best its ever been. I am also very thankful Nighthawk sent that Cane rod to Betty. That thread in itself was a blessing to me… I could list a ton of things I am thankful for…
The reason for this thread is for you to list at least one thing you are thankful for :
I am very thankful for FAOL and it’s members. I am so thankful for living in a country where I am free. I am so thankful for my Creator and all He has done for me and members on this site.
I am thankful that God brought a wonderful woman into my life 28 years ago. It had to be God because when I was picking them my judgement was pretty poor.
I am thankful I have a God and a family that love me even though they know me at my worse. I am blessed to have a few true friends that can be counted on when I need them. I live in more comfort and dine better than most of the kings in history. I am thankful my ancestor put aside a successful life in England for freedom in America and for the men and women who came after him who have thus far successful defended that freedom.
I give Thanks, that my wife is still with me. I also give Thanks for giving my 15 yo daughter the strength to deal with her Cancer and lastly, I give the most Thanks to God for being my strength through all this and the current financial hardship. It is by him that I will overcome.
I am thankful for the life God gave me & all the blessings bestowed upon me, especially the ones that felt & feel like burdens. Those are the ones that made me a stronger, better person & will continue to do so.
Mike
I am thankful for all the great folks of this board I have met. I am grateful for the blessing of being born American, serving in the American military with the greatest men and women on earth. I am grateful to men and women like my friend Timbe Seats who gave his life while wearing that uniform and to God for forcing me to witness his death. It changed me in ways that only seeing such a thing could.
Mikey you said it so well. I too am thankful for all my trials and tribulations for they too are blessings. What does not kill me shall only make me stronger and more the wiser.
No matter how dark things become in life, somehow my family and I get through these troubles.
I am in prayer everyday with my Heavenly Father, and when things happen in my life, where I do not see any light at the end of the tunnel… I ask for help from the angles that surround us all.
“Create in me a clean heart O’ God, and renew a right spirit within me, cast me not away from your presence, take not Your Holy Spirit from me, restore on to me the joy of thy salvation, and uphold me in Thy Free Spirt.”
And I then feel His Spirt, running through my body, as if I was a piece of blank paper being run through the copier!
