NOT, I repeat, NOT FF .......

But I couldn’t resist passing this along. Keeping in mind that I am not a cowboy, nor have I ever played one on TV … I found this in the Rapid City News today.

WOW!! Almost enough to make me want to be a cowboy!

Those are the girliest spurs I’ve ever seen !!

John

P.S. Don’t take it to heart.

WAY TOO SPIKY!! Mine are much smaller rowels and work just fine! Much easier to walk with also.
Will try to get a pic for you Betty! Tomorrow on my day off.

John, Maybe that’s why they appeal to me?? Definitely a dress spur rather than a working spur!!

Byron, One reason I liked them is cuz of the sound they’d make when you walked!!

Purty! Yup! Purty!!

Betty,

I recall as a kid we used to take soda cans and step down on them with the heel of our shoes so they would pinch and hold the sides of the shoe. May not be as purty as you like. :stuck_out_tongue:

tough todo but i have to reply to my “ma”. here is a good book full of wonderful reading. the titile is “don’t squat with your spurs on” and i know yo will enjoy it:

stetsons, sabers and spurs there.

I still say they would look a little out of place on a pair of waders. I don’t think they will let you in Spikes with a pair of those on either…

Brad

That’s ok, she could wear 'em into just about any Country Music restaurant here.
But I agree that she looks more natural in waders.

Ed, who never wore spurs when he worked cattle. It’s too hard to drive a pickup with spurs on your combat boots…

Wearing those on waders would require a spearing permit in most states.
